| Fumbling Towards Lunacy by Nicholas Ruiz III video Hi again. It’s Nick. I really appreciate everything you’ve done for the campaign until now, and I have to say – the support of so many liberals, progressives, Democrats, true independents and even conscientious Republicans is astonishing. Merci! Now, I have to ask for that favor again: I need 4 big donors who can afford it to contribute the maximum amount permissible per election: $2500. Why? Because the royal state of Florida demands $10,440 to place one’s name on the ballot. Yes, I know there’s a petition process as well – but the cost of gathering the thousands of petitions required is practically the same as the ballot fee of $10,440. And the state of Florida can always throw them out if they don’t like the look of certain petitions. Remember what happened to Newt and Rick in Virginia? Yes, no ballot access – because Virginia threw out thousands of their petitions. Virtually all FL candidates pay the fee - or pay just as much to collect thousands of petitions. Nice. Paying the fee guarantees I’m on the ballot – and that’s what we want, no? In case you’ve forgotten, I’m running against Tea Party neoconservative, Sandy Adams. I’ll give you three reasons why we must oust her in 2012: First, she just endorsed Mitt “Shamwow” Romney for President. Enough said: Second, Adams’ oddly neoconservative, imperial policies, like support for NDAA and SOPA, and her medieval royalist notion that U.S. Senators should be appointed (not elected) are oddly reminiscent of another imperialist. Let’s not turn fiction into reality: Third, because you know the difference this campaign stands for - and you want to be a part of it. Please Contribute.
