Many among us are doing well and good things in America. I see
proof there is hope for a better America. But many among us are
hurting and faced with very painful situations and difficult
circumstances.

I see and feel the pain in our country.

America - don't give up.

Ironically, many political candidates that would destroy what's left of
America have raised 10, 20, or even 50x the amount of money we
have raised for this campaign. And many candidates and
incumbents who want your attention, unfortunately, want just that.

But none of them will do, what I will do, should I be elected in 2012.

Why? Because I'm doing this for one reason alone.

Because America needs this kind of leadership - right now.

The conservative politicians aiming to commandeer America for the
1% are succeeding. And the incumbent politicians and personalities
that claim they want to stop them have in many respects, already
failed us.

If you believe in New Deal politics, then you believe in me.

But I cannot make it so, without you.
